When intervals start to feel familiar
Got up before the alarm.
MORNING
Working on a structured schedule seems better for training every day. Today I got up before the alarm and interval training, 2 minutes on, 1 minute off, 2 minutes on, 1 minute off. This is my 3rd maybe 4th week of interval training. Today the interval training seemed relatively that bit easier than the previous weeks. The body is getting accustomed to running at a higher pace level with elevated heart rate. The run was 27 minutes at 5:24/km (avg HR 167).
Then today after that I went to the gym and did some workout. I did a circuit with KB front rack carry, KB bird dog rows, and Hindu push-ups. Then another circuit with KB kickstand single arm clean and press, KB gorilla rows, and DB floor press with alternating arms. Then a third circuit with DB push press, chin-ups, and burpees with an extra push-up. I finished with a superset of cable bent over rotations and single leg V-ups. The lift was 80 minutes (avg HR 122).
I am truly grateful for my family who is supporting me to do this training. I am sometimes not fully present at work, not fully present at home. But in the now when I am training these days which is a plus point. I am training 12-15 hours every week. Maybe next week I will dial it down for 1 week before I pick it up the pace again.
In the now when I am training.
